MOTHER'S DAY SERVICE ON THE 9TH May 2010

When the master stoops down to your level he lifts you up to his level .

This was the message that was delivered on Mother's day Sunday 9 th May 2010 by Sr. Mary Rutivi an accomplished mother and the wife to Apostle Dr. Alois Rutivi. The message was inspirational, relevant and timely. Based on the story of Mary Magdalene, in the book of John 8:3-11 She affirmed that when anyone meets the master they have to be transformed. Mary Magdalene a woman caught in the very act of adultery could not continue with the adulterous life any more. Despite being accused by the Pharisees Christ ignored the accusers and forgave the lady. Even this day we have many accusers but God will ignore them because He loves us and would like to see us transformed.

She further went on to say, basing on John 8:11, that since we have been lifted to the masters level, we should sin no more but cast away unnecessary baggage. The moment we do the right things the Lord can definitely break protocol in our favour.

Bishop Rutivi rising up on the same note reiterated that we belong to Christ's level since He has been lifted up above principalities & powers. He said that people who come to us should make a positive difference in our lives

He concluded in the book of 1 Timothy 5:2 which states The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity.

In the spirit of mothers day all accomplished mothers were treated to wonderful surprises and above all Bishop Rutivi led the church in making a special prayer for them that the Lord may give them grace , peace and great health.
